Datavera Partners with the ICT Commission for the First Tanzania AI Forum 2025

Datavera proudly partnered with the ICT Commission under the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology in Tanzania to support the First Tanzania AI Forum 2025, a landmark national event dedicated to advancing artificial intelligence and digital innovation.

As part of the forum, Datavera served as the main sponsor of the JAMII Stack AI Competition, an initiative designed to promote entrepreneurship and AI-driven innovation among Tanzanian startups. Fourteen promising companies presented their solutions to real-world challenges, demonstrating the growing potential of the country’s technological ecosystem.

Founder and CEO Bilal Hmedeh delivered an engaging keynote session titled “AI for Government Services: Building Digital Services Centered on Our Citizens.” In his presentation, he emphasized the importance of designing AI solutions that are accessible, citizen centric, and built on trust, a message that resonated strongly with both government and private sector attendees.

Bilal Hmedeh also served as Chief Judge of the JAMII Stack AI Competition, leading a distinguished committee that evaluated each pitch based on innovation, scalability, and social impact.

Datavera awarded the top three winners and announced its intention to invest in one of the participating companies to support its scale up strategy and growth.
